This economical, easy to use thermometer is intended for continuous monitoring in the hospital or laboratory. The digital display reads to 1/10°C. For safety, the unit is battery operated and batteries will last for 1200 hours.

In the lab: TH-5 is used with any of our fast reading microprobes and special animal probes. For example, RET-2 is a rectal probe for rats.
For lab applications where strip chart recording is needed, the TH-5 can be supplied with analog output.

TH-8 is easy to operate - just connect the sensors and switch on - and has safe battery operation.
TH-8 gives fast readings with oral and rectal probes and reads low temperatures for detection of hypothermia.

TH-8 can be installed anywhere temperature monitors are needed. It weighs under 3 lbs. and can be mounted overhead, on poles or on shelves. For lab applications where strip chart recording is needed, the TH-8 can be supplied with analog output.

RET-1 - Rectal probe for rabbits and larger animals. Flexible, vinyl covered, soft tipped. Does not cause discomfort. Max. Temp. 90°C. Time constant 5.0 secs. 5 ft. lead. Isolated.

RET-2 - Rectal probe for rats. For fast intermittent measurements. Smooth ball tip. Stainless steel shaft - 1 " long, 0.59" dia., tip dia. .125". 5 ft. lead. Max Temp. 125°C. Time constant 0.8 secs. Not Isolated.

RET-3 - Rectal probe for mice, etc. As RET-2, with shaft 3/4" long. .028" dia. Tip diameter .125". Time constant 0.5 secs. Not Isolated.

RET-4 - Rectal probe for very small animals, neonatal mice.  Flexible polyurethane sheath with smooth rounded tip.  36" long.  Outside diameter nominal .032", max .04".  Time constant 0.18 seconds.  Max temp. 140 degrees C.  Maybe sterilized by GAS or autoclaved.

ISO - Isolated sensor.  Can be used with monitoring equipment where electrical interference from other electrodes could be present.
